Braddy

About me

I’m Braddy Yeoh, a senior software engineer at Solidroad, a YC-backed AI QA platform for enterprise CX. I work across the stack, shipping customer-facing product as readily as the distributed infrastructure beneath it, and spent the previous four years at Tines delivering new revenue channels, leading the infrastructure for a product-led-growth launch, and scaling multi-tenant orchestration to over a billion workflow actions a week. I like the problems where product and systems constraints collide.

Going deep on ML

Machine learning has been a thread through my work since undergrad. My thesis at UCD applied ML to NP-hard combinatorial optimization, learning to sparsify Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem instances so classical solvers could tackle them faster. In 2022 I was admitted to ETH Zurich’s M.Sc. in Computer Science with a machine-learning focus, but chose to withdraw and join an early-stage startup, prioritizing broad, hands-on engineering experience across the whole stack first.

That itch never left. More recently I built Pairity, an end-to-end ML system for badminton matchmaking that pairs a CP-SAT constraint solver with predictive modeling: multi-objective optimization balancing skill, fairness, and variety, with Optuna handling hyperparameter tuning.

Away from work, I cook constantly and love traveling to discover new cuisines and cultures.
